Real World Tactical ("we", "us") operates realworld-tactical.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, contact us and we will explain it in plain language.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
- Email signups: your email address when you request a free guide or subscribe to our list.
- Orders: your email address, billing details and shipping address when you purchase a product or enrol in a course.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring URL.
- Cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which records the pages you view and the actions you take so we can measure advertising and show relevant ads.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To process orders, course bookings and payments.
- To send the resources you requested, and occasional updates about training, courses and products. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including building audiences on Meta platforms.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
Payment information
We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects your card information directly. We receive only a confirmation of payment, the amount, and the email and shipping address you supplied at checkout. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as much as they need:
| Provider | Purpose | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing | Payment and billing details |
| Meta (Facebook) | Advertising and measurement | Site activity; email address in hashed form |
| Resend | Sending email | Email address and message content |
| Skool | Hosting our membership community | Account details you provide on their platform |
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
Advertising and the Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to understand which ads lead to enquiries and purchases. When we share your email address with Meta for this purpose, it is hashed before it leaves our server — Meta receives an irreversible fingerprint, not your address.
You can limit ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and through your browser's cookie controls.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and as long as required for tax, accounting and legal obligations. Order records are typically retained for seven years. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message.
- Access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including advertising.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU General Data Protection Regulation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of them. To make a request, contact us using the details below — we may need to verify your identity first.
Security
We use encryption in transit, restricted administrative access and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
We operate in the United States. If you access the site from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the site.
